about me

So you can know more about me...

The beginning

I don't really like these pages, especially since they tend to get very cliché or corny. Besides, I'm not too big on writing about myself (talking about myself is a totally different issue). If you stumbled onto this site, it's probably due to two reasons: 1) you want to see more photos of me or 2) you want to know more about who that person is in those pictures. Either way, I guess I'll be glad to tell you more.

First off, I'm a guy (duh) . I'm also a guy who likes other guys. Wait, did you know that? Hopefully that is not too much of a surprise to you. Just to be understanding of everyone, I know buzzwords like "gay" isn't in everyone's preferred set of vocabulary. Just to be very global-minded, you can use whatever word to describe it...I'm pretty open to slang words or euphuisms, whatever floats your boat. (more)

Mohawk!

I've been contemplating the idea of getting a mohawk! I haven't gotten a haircut since the summer time, so it's about time to perhaps have someone mow down my locks. Since I wear a hat all the time, I don't think a mohawk would be too dramatic of a change. It would be a fun change and especially since it's so rebellious. Let's see if I actually go through with it.

A realization...

I noticed that things don't really change. Despite the fact that people may shift around here and there, nothing really is different. People are trapped in their own patterns, albeit positive or negative.

Feeling invisible...

Have you ever felt invisible when it came to your own identity in this world? Check out my opinions about what this actually means and the extent to which we are all affected by social invisibility. (moved ~ click here)

Favorite Cartoons

While growing up, there were always a few cartoons that I absolutely must see when I get home from school each day. Of course, this is the age of the television babysitter, so the boob-tube had always been a very reliable caretaker when I was little.

Much of cartoons in the 80's were directed to boys and male audiences. There were some shows targeting girls, such as Jem and My Little Pony, but they were so few in choices in comparison to cartoons for boys.

Among my favorites, one staple in my daily need for quality TV programming: G.I. Joes! (more)

How do I feel about...

roller coasters: I'm not very good at those. However, you can get me to ride one of those if you beg hard enough.(more)

not being white: What's the big deal about being white? I think some people might think that's it's a racist thing that I'm saying. However, I'm very confused (and slightly frustrated) with U.S. culture and how it glorifies certain qualities about being white. (more)

girls: I love girls, but only in a certain way. I find many girls and women physically attractive. (more)

being scared: Fear is suppose to be...scary. Everyone's body handles it differently though. For me, I feel fear as this insect-crawling-like sensation running up and down my spine. (more)

poverty: That's a tough topic to discuss. I am sometimes very conscientious about the ways that I talk about it, because you can seriously offend people without even knowing it. (more)

being naked: It's not too bad to be naked. (more)
